Promoting a happy place for your furry friends

Pets are family. So when it comes to boarding and day play, it matters where they stay. The good people at Southport Kennel work hard to create a safe, comfortable environment for your four-legged pals. With almost 10,000 square feet of boarding space, including climate-controlled runs, pets can stretch out in comfort for daycare or an extended vacation.

As pet lovers, we were excited to get our paws on Southport’s marketing. We delivered an engagement strategy with a strong brand identity and deliverables like logo and signage design, content creation, online advertising, web design and development, and direct mailers – all intended to fetch more customers and promote a positive stay-and-play experience.

A Playful Brand Personality

Southport Kennel is all about happy pets. We wanted Southport’s lively, light-hearted personality and love of animals to shine through in every aspect of the brand. The logo was simple and versatile and evolved into branded lobby and road signage. The website we designed and developed gives current and potential customers important info, updates, and online booking options. We produced some in-hand treats like Southport magnets and report cards for pet parents to take home. We also facilitated a partnership between Southport Kennel and the Spartanburg Humane Society, creating “Free Stay” Southport cards for all new Humane Society adoptions.

You’ve Got Mail

Who doesn’t love something cute in their mailbox? In this virtual world, direct mail marketing is alive and well. This successful marketing medium can target specific customers while increasing brand awareness and ROI. We designed some adorable seasonal direct mailers to spotlight Southport and help people get ahead of the holiday booking craze. These direct mailers worked effectively as a single campaign and as a part of the integrated marketing campaign for Southport, resulting in an influx of new, delighted clients and increased booking rates.
